The Cherokee Village Police Department functions as the primary law enforcement agency of Cherokee Village, Arkansas. The Cherokee Village Police provide police services to the citizens of Cherokee Village in an extensive 21.31 square mile area. Cherokee Village Patrol Division
The Cherokee Village Police Department’s patrol division is responsible for enforcing state and local laws within its jurisdiction. Officers are on duty 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Patrol Officers are responsible for traffic and speed enforcement for the city as well as investigating motor vehicle accidents and completing reports for accidents. Patrol Officers provide security checks for city businesses and investigate criminal activity.

Phillip Sweet (of Little Big Town) was raised in Cherokee Village, Arkansas in the Ozarks. He grew up in a musical family. His mother had a weekend country variety show and all of his brothers and sisters were involved in music in some way.
Phillip learned to play guitar and keyboards and wrote his first song when he was nine years old. When he was ten, he became a featured soloist in his church's touring musical group.
